Portugal announce 26-man squad for Euro 2020

A Selecao are filled up to the brim with talent with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias in the team.

Portugal national team head coach Fernando Santos has revealed the players he has called up for the upcoming European tournament.

Portugal are placed in Group F of the Euro 2020. The titleholders will start the defense of their crown by taking on Hungary on June 15 before locking horns with heavyweights Germany and France on June 19 and June 23 respectively.

Nine of the 26 players called up play in the Premier League, six come from the Portuguese Primeira Liga, four from La Liga, and as many from the French Ligue 1. Captain Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player from Serie A while the remaining two play in the Bundesliga.
