As we previously anticipated, Edinson Cavani signed a new contract with Manchester United and we finally got his reaction to it.
Edinson Cavani has dramatically improved his game as a Manchester United player and he just signed a new contract with the club. We initially told you this was about to happen in the coming hours and the reports were correct. Edinson will keep on playing at Old Trafford for one more season at least. If he continues playing at the highest level, he will definitely think about extending his contract for one more year.
This is a very similar situation to the one Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going through. Although Cavani actually has a chance to win a title this season where Zlatan couldnโt help AC Milan. In fact, the Uruguay international was almost entirely responsible for Manchester Unitedโs chance to win the UEFA Europa League this season. His performances for the Red Devils have been nothing short of spectacular.
Cavani hopes this extension brings him more titles.
