A new report has emerged claiming the Kroenke family are ready to sell Arsenal for the right price.

Following the European Super League fiasco, Stan Kroenke’s future as owner of Arsenal football club has been under a cloud.

The American billionaire’s decision to sign Arsenal up as a founder for the aborted European Super League has left his relationship with the club’s fanbase damaged beyond repair.

Thousands of the club’s supporters recently gathered outside the Emirates to stage a protest. There are even plans for a second one in Thursday’s Europa League semi-final second leg against Villarreal.

Despite these actions, Kroenke and his son, Josh, have affirmed they won’t entertain offers for Arsenal.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has also claimed the under-fire owners have shown ‘commitment’ and ‘ambition’ for the club.

This stance came amid ‘very serious’ interest in a takeover bid from Daniel Ek. The co-founder and CEO of music streaming service Spotify claims to have ‘secured the funds’ to buy out the Kroenke family.

He also reportedly has the endorsement of club legends Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, and Patrick Vieira.

Now the Daily Mail claims that Kroenke Sports & Entertainment has Arsenal up for sale. In fact, the 13-time English champions have technically been on the market for the last two years.

Following an approach from an international financial consortium, KSE told the interested party they would entertain offers of around £1.7 billion.

No deal was obviously made, of course, but it proved that even Kroenke has a price.
