Tottenham continue to search for their Mourinho replacement and the latest on their list is Wolves boss Nuno Santo.
Jorge Mendes has reportedly approached Tottenham to broker a deal that would see Nuno Espirito Santo appointed as their new manager.
Spurs are searching for a new head coach after Jose Mourinho was sensationally sacked by chairman Daniel Levy just six days before their Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, which they went on to lose 1-0.
The Sun reports super agent Mendes, who ironically also represents Mourinho, has been touting Nuno’s services to the north London club as a potential replacement amid doubts over his long-term future with Wolves.
The 47-year-old is one of the longest-serving managers in the Premier League, having guided Wolves to promotion in his first season in charge in 2018.
While he is under contract until 2023, it is claimed that Nuno could seek a new challenge with a club fighting for European football, with the West Midlands outfit lying 12th in the league table after a disappointing campaign.
The Portuguese had committed his future to the club before watching his side put in a dismal display in the heavy 4-0 home defeat to Burnley.
Despite that result, reports in the local press have denied any suggestion that Wolves are willing to allow Nuno to leave anytime soon.
