The young Juventus star has recently joined Ronaldo in doing his trademark jump to celebrate scoring goals.

Federico Chiesa insists he couldn’t help but copy Cristiano Ronaldo’s “contagious” goal celebration and is loving life alongside a legendary “champion”.

The 23-year-old first made headlines for mimicking his teammate’s famous trademark jump to celebrate goals last month. He did so again in Juventus’ 2-1 win over Serie A rivals Napoli on Wednesday evening.

In fact, Chiesa assisted Ronaldo for the fourth time this season to help the Portuguese score the first goal of the match.

“The celebration with Ronaldo was the rush of the moment,” Chiesa explained to Sky Sport Italia.

“I copied his excitement. It’s very contagious. It’s fantastic to play with a champion of his caliber who made history.

The Italian has been one of Juventus’ standout performers this season. He has supplied 13 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions since joining from Fiorentina last summer.

Chiesa added on playing with Ronaldo: “I’m happy to play with champions like that, and I have a fantastic relationship with all of them [his Juventus teammates]. They are all fantastic guys in the group.”

Chiesa will hope to join CR7 in another goal celebration for Juventus’ next Serie A match against Genoa on Sunday afternoon in Turin.
