The Real Madrid boss was quizzed on the Salah transfer links ahead of the Champions League clash with Liverpool.
Zinedine Zidane refused to budge on transfer rumors linking Mohamed Salah to Spain and insisted his sole interest is on Real Madrid’s next match.
The Frenchman was put on the spot during his pre-match conference on Monday for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between Real Madrid and Liverpool on the next day in Spain.
One of the big talking points for the clash is Salah. The Egyptian was forced off early in the 2018 final between the two clubs, in which Real Madrid won 3-1 in Kiev, with an injury. He has since been linked with a move to Los Blancos and recently refused to rule out playing in La Liga one day.

But when Zidane was asked if he would like to coach the Liverpool star, he replied: “Salah is not my player.
“I have 25 players here, at the moment I am the Real Madrid coach and I enjoy the moment. I’m focused on tomorrow’s game and playing against players like Salah, and that’s what we’re going to have to do tomorrow.”
Salah, meanwhile, opened on how Real Madrid have changed since the 2018 Champions League final.
