According to a recent report from Cadena SER, Real Madrid has a new alternative in case Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe doesn’t happen.

Real Madrid has a plan B and even C in case Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe don’t come to the club next summer. We won’t count Cristiano Ronaldo because he’s a very different story, he will come regardless of what happens. However, Los Blancos are also trying to count on the idea that neither of their targets will come. On one side, you have PSG pressuring Kylian Mbappe to sign his contract extension ASAP.

They consider they have a shot at getting him to stay until after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. As one of the most powerful football clubs in the world, PSG tends to convince its players to remain at the club. On the other side, you have Erling Haaland and his many possible suitors. You have clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and FC Barcelona trying to get him to sign a contract. Real Madrid doesn’t want to get into a bidding war with anybody, especially during a global pandemic.

The alternative comes from the Premier League.

As an alternative, they will try to sign a player who can guarantee them many goals per season. A proven talent who has everything to succeed in a club like Los Blancos, he comes from the Premier League. According to Cadena SER, Florentino Perez is already making contact to see if Harry Kane would be interested in playing for his club. The England international already loved through a long spell at Tottenham Hotspur.

Not winning any titles this season will push him away from the North London club in search of some silverware before the end of his career. As one of the best strikers in the world, Kane has the necessary skill to become the most important striker at a club such as Real Madrid. For Zidane, Karim Benzema is still the top player there but he can make both players perform together.
