The Real Madrid academy product could be sacrificed with the Nerazzuri reportedly looking to raise funds in times of financial turmoil.
Achraf Hakimi is “happy” with life at Inter Milan, says the player’s agent as he effectively shuts down all the recent transfer rumors.
Hakimi signed for Inter Milan last summer on the back of a successful loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
The Moroccan had already established himself as one of Europe’s finest full-backs while in Germany, and further polished that reputation in his debut campaign in Italy.
The 22-year-old has been pivotal to the Scudetto charge for Antonio Conte’s men, contributing six goals and five assists through 26 appearances in Serie A.
It has been reported, however, that Inter could be forced to cash in on their €40 million signing in the summer with the club in financial turmoil.
London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are understood to be keen on landing him, but Hakimi’s agent has played down the Real Madrid academy product’s potential exit from Inter.
“Hakimi is happy at Inter with Conte, who’s an excellent coach,” Alejandro Camano told Radio Kiss Kiss, via Sempreinter.
“Conte’s style of play suits Achraf and I think he will end up improving a lot because of this experience with the Nerazzurri.”
