The 10 richest club owners in world football have been named in a top 10 list with some eye-catching figures in their bank accounts.
Manchester City’s Sheikh Mansour is the richest football club owner in 2021 with a $30 billion fortune. Dietrich Mateschitz, who owns RB Leipzig and Salzburg, is the second-richest on $26.9 billion, with Juventus’ Andrea Agnelli completing the top-three on $19.1 billion.
It’s no secret, of course, that money has become a big factor in football. Especially in the transfer rounds, with some clubs investing hundreds of millions on star players to aid their respective title bids.
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are perhaps the best examples of what money can buy in football. They each signed big-name players and become major challengers, winning countless domestic silverware in the last decade.
That said, they’re yet to win in Europe so far.
