Man Utd weigh up Valverde move.

Manchester United have drawn up a list of potential replacements for Paul Pogba, whose future at the club remains up in the air.

Federico Valverde is high on that list, with the Uruguayan’s skillset comparable to that of the Frenchman.

However, signing the Real Madrid man would be complicated as he has an enormous €170 million buyout clause on his contract which runs for four more years.

The Red Devils, though, would be willing to offer him an even better offer than his current £120,000-a-week wages. [The Sun]

Gameiro set for Valencia departure.

Valencia have decided against handing forward Kevin Gameiro a new contract. The 33-year-old, as a result, is expected to drop to free agency at the end of this season. [AS]

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Andre Silva is receiving admiring glances from several top clubs around Europe.

Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are among those said to be interested in acquiring the services of the Portuguese striker, who has scored 19 goals across 22 appearances this season.
