Jose Mourinho’s men have a point to prove and so do Carlo Ancelotti’s side with both contestants aching for a taste of silverware.

Everton lock horns with Tottenham as Goodison Park is set for an exciting FA Cup fifth-round clash on Wednesday night.

The Merseyside outfit, who haven’t won a major honor since 1994-95, have exceeded expectations this term under the Italian serial-winner, who has the experience of guiding the likes of Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Bayern Munich to glory.

The north London side also aim to end their eight-year trophy drought under a manager synonymous with success and are hoping glory could finally arrive this season in the shape of the FA Cup.

Everton vs Tottenham Form:

The Toffees beat Rotherham United 2-1 and Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 to reach the fifth round – the furthest they have advanced in this competition since 2016.

Last time out, they rather dramatically denied Manchester United a victory at Old Trafford. A late, late goal by Dominic Calvert-Lewin ensured a share of the spoils in the Premier League fixture.

Spurs overcame Marine and Wycombe Wanderers, both away from home, to make it this far in the competition.

The Lillywhites go into the match on the back of a 2-0 win against West Brom, their only win in the last four games across all competitions.

Everton vs Tottenham Head-to-head:

The two sides have faced each other already once this season. Spurs were beaten at home by the sole goal in the Premier League match back in September.

Spurs, however, have a slight head-to-head advantage, winning 68 out of a total of 180 meetings.

Everton vs Tottenham Team News:

Jordan Pickford, Niels Nkounkou, and Jean-Philippe Gbamin will be missing for the hosts through injuries while Allan is a doubt.

For the visitors, Sergio Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso, and Dele Alli will be the unavailable players.

Predicted Line-ups:

Everton (4-2-3-1): Olsen; Holgate, Keane, Godfrey, Digne; Doucoure, Gomes; James Rodriguez, Sigurdsson, Iwobi; Calvert-Lewin

Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Doherty, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Davies; Winks, Sissoko; Bale, Lamela, Son; Vinicius
