The Real Madrid manager remains under contract for another 18 months, but couldn’t offer any guarantees over his long-term status.
Zinedine Zidane cannot offer any long-term guarantees over his Real Madrid future and remains solely focused on the day to day running of the club.
January 4 marks the fourth anniversary of the Frenchman’s first appointment as manager. He has overseen 233 games, in between a brief break from May 2018 to March 2019, and 156 victories (D45 L32) in total.
11 major honors have also come Zidane’s way, making him one of the club’s most successful managers of all-time.
Zidane's big wishes for 2021 is that none of his players get injured and to win titles at the end of the season. Just what we all wish for! Let's hope 2021 is a great one. pic.twitter.com/6Xw3gWcvpi

But life as a football manager for such a big club can be one of the most stressful and demanding jobs.
“It demands a lot of you, but it’s a great job,” said Zidane in a press conference on Friday afternoon.
“I’m lucky enough to say I’m manager of Real Madrid and take advantage of every moment. I can’t say a month, a year or four years. Life is just about the day to day.
“That’s what I’m interested in: the day to day, to give everything I can, in every training session, every game. That’s what I’m interested in.
“The rest? I don’t know what’s going to happen in one week. That’s why we have to take advantage of the moment.”
Zidane and Real Madrid will face Celta Vigo in a La Liga match on Saturday night.
