In a special holiday interview, Erling Haaland spoke about the objectives he has with Borussia Dortmund for the current season in Europe.
Despite playing for a relatively modest club, Erling Haaland still has plenty of objectives as a Borussia Dortmund player. Being on the same league as Bayern Munich is not an impediment for him to think his side can win silverware this season. In fact, Haaland is confident they can fight not only for the Bundesliga but other competitions too. As far as he is concerned, Dortmund has everything to fight for all the titles this season.
They are currently one of the clubs with the most competitive rosters in European football and Haaland is a major part of it. Today, he is considered one of the most prolific strikers in the world due to how easy scoring goals comes for him. But the major question here is if Borussia Dortmund will be able to keep the pace with other major clubs on the continent.
Haaland’s ambitions for the current season.
Erling Haaland described what he expects from the current season at Dortmund: “My biggest dream right now is to achieve something with Dortmund and that’s what I am working for,” he told DAZN via Goal. “To try to give this to the club and to the fans because everyone in this club deserves this. I will do the best every time I can.
“The club bought me for a lot of money and the fans can expect me to give 100 percent. Borussia Dortmund is just the big dream I’m living. Achieving something with BVB is what I’m working for. I always want more and more,” the 20-year-old former Molde forward said. Yeah I scored four goals, but imagine if I scored six? How much nicer would that be? That’s also what I want.”
