After the votes from 140 journalists from the most prestigious publications were cast, they formed an attacking trio with Brazilian Ronaldo. However, the full list is filled with some of the most impressive talents in this sport’s history. We still hadn’t heard from the only two players from this list who are still active until a few moments ago.
Both Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo feel deeply honored to be part of this incredible list that some supporters might not agree with. As per France Football’s final count, the list goes like this: Lev Yashin, Cafu, Franz Beckenbauer, Paolo Maldini, Lothar Matthaus, Xavi, Pele, Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ronaldo Nazario.

After getting this recognition, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo decided to post a reaction on their Instagram accounts. It’s safe to say they both consider this one of the biggest honors of their careers due to the history behind France Football (who created the Ballon d’Or Award).
This is what Ronaldo wrote on Instagram: “I’m very honoured to be part of France Football’s All-Time 11. What an amazing Dream Team… They all deserve my respect and admiration and I’m obviously proud to be amongst such extraordinary players. Thank you!”

I would like to thank everyone who voted for me and also congratulate all the players who were selected for both squads. Also, I want to congratulate all the nominated players.
