The Hungarian attacker’s stocks have seen a substantial rise this season which has seen him get linked to several high-profile names.
Dominik Szoboszlai is a potential transfer target for RB Leipzig, club CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has confirmed.
A number of eye-catching performances have seen the 20-year-old attacking midfielder quickly emerge as one of the most sought-after talents in Europe this season.
The RB Salzburg star particularly gained many plaudits after guiding Hungary to the next summer’s European Championship with an outrageous winning goal against Iceland last month.
Arsenal, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid are all reportedly eager on acquiring his services.
Recent reports suggested that Szoboszlai prefers a move away in January following Salzburg’s elimination from the Champions League.
It was also claimed that Leipzig are in a pole position to land the player due to the Red Bull connection with Salzburg.
“He is someone we find very interesting. “I can say that we are concerned with him,” Leipzig chief Mintzlaff told Sky Germany, adding fuel to the transfer rumors.
“You can gaze into a crystal ball and know more than I do,” he said. “We are not the only ones [who are interested].”
Szoboszlai has notched up an impressive eight goals and nine assists in 19 games across all competitions so far for Salzburg in 2021-21.
