Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes hit yet another impressive Premier League record with the latest award given to him.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for November.
The 26-year-old scored four goals in as many Premier League games for United last month. The highlight of those goals was a brace in the Red Devils’ 3-1 win at Everton on November 7.
Fernandes also scored the winner in the 1-0 victory over West Brom on November 21, before ending the month with another goal in a 3-2 win at Southampton on November 29.
Fernandes has now won the Premier League Player of the Month award three times since his arrival at United. He won the award twice last season – in February and June.
As per United’s website, the Portuguese is now only the third player ever to do so (win the award three times) in Premier League history after Ashley Young and Harry Kane. The 26-year-old is the first foreigner to do so as well.
Fernandes now has 11 goals in 17 games this season in all competitions after scoring in Tuesday’s disappointing 3-2 defeat to RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
United return to Premier League action in a big derby against rivals Manchester City on Saturday.
