The result is yet to be officially announced, but the winner has leaked the news by sharing his achievement on social media.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed he has been awarded the Premier League Manager of the Month for November.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, West Ham head coach David Moyes, alongside the Tottenham gaffer, were on the shortlist.

With his side at the top of the Premier League table, Mourinho was able to beat off competition from the other three.

Spurs picked up 10 points out of a possible 12 in what was a testing month, having faced the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal in November.

The winner is yet to be announced officially but an eager Mourinho took to Instagram to confirm that he had scooped the Manager of the Month award.

“It says manager of the month, but for me it is team of the month or staff of the month because it is about the players and all these guys that are here with me: the coaches, the assistants, the sports science guys, the analysts and others that are not here but work so hard,” his post read.

“Thank you for this but it is not manager of the month, it is team of the month and staff of the month.”

Tottenham appear stronger than ever under the Portuguese tactician, having avoided defeat in all but one of their 11 league games so far this season.

Many view them as favorites to go all the way through and earn a first English top-flight crown in almost six decades while also end a 12-year trophy drought this term.
