Ex-Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp can only see the result of the north London derby going in one direction on Sunday.
Harry Redknapp believes Tottenham are way ahead of Arsenal right now and would topple their rivals in the north London derby on Sunday.
Both sides find themselves in different trajectories in the build up to what is usually a much-anticipated fixture.
Tottenham are at the top of the Premier League standings while Arsenal are at an unfamiliar position in 14th place.
Spurs have put on a couple of impressive performances this term that has seen many label them ‘title challengers’ under the guidance of a serial winner in Jose Mourinho.
Ahead of the north London derby, many are convinced it would be a stroll in the park for Spurs.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright even voiced out his fears yesterday ahead of the game.
Ex-Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has now made his own prediction in favor of his former side as well.
“Tottenham have got a good squad,” he said to Ray Parlour via talkSPORT, and the Gunners legend didn’t dispute those claims.
“They’ve got strength in depth, they’ve got two internationals for every position, it’s a very different looking Tottenham squad and it’s very strong.”
“I think they’ve got a real chance [of winning the title].”
“The two squads now, there’s no comparison, for me. I think Tottenham have gone way in front of Arsenal as a team.”
“I think Arsenal are where I expected them to be, I think they’ll finish up in the top seven or eight, but just about.”
“Arteta has got a long job on his hands, I like him but it’s not an easy one, and I think their team is well short.”
“I’ve watched them over the last few weeks and I wouldn’t compare them with Tottenham, I think Tottenham will be too strong for Arsenal.”
