Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to give anything away on his future but hints there could be room for a contract extension with Milan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored another acrobatic late winner as AC Milan consolidated top spot in Serie A with a victory against Udinese.

The 39-year-old hooked in a seventh goal in just four league appearances this season.

Despite his age , the big Swede continues to show that age is just a number.

Ibrahimovic brushed off his penalty miss from last Thursday to record a goal and an assist as Milan got back to winning ways.

He joined the Rossoneri on a six-month contract back in January and has remained coy on several occasions when asked about his future.

Yet again, he has chosen to speak on that matter once more.

“When I arrived at Milan six months ago, the club wanted me to sign a longer contract, but to be honest with myself I asked to sign only for six months,” Ibra told Sky Sport after the game.

“No one had to be dissatisfied. At the end of the season, we’ll see how I feel. I don’t want to block Milan in a not positive situation.

“One year at a time, but if I continue like this I’ll tell Paolo [Maldini]: “If you don’t sign for another year I won’t play anymore.”

On many occasions, Ibrahimovic has mentioned he still feels ‘young’ and very much has the capacity to play until he’s 40.
