Ahead of this weekend’s crucial game between Arsenal and Manchester United, Dimitar Berbatov has his predictions to offer.

Manchester United face Arsenal over the weekend in the Premier League and Berbatov has his predictions. The Bulgarian striker is no longer playing football but he is enjoying his life as an analyst. But every time he gets a chance, he also gives his opinion on anything football-related.

This time around, he is writing a weekly column for Metro where he gives the fans his predictions of every match over the weekend. As a former Red Devil, it’s clear that the most important game for him is Manchester United vs Arsenal.

Berbatov wrote: “The weekend’s blockbuster clash is due to take place at Old Trafford with an apparently resurgent Manchester United taking on an Arsenal side which has suffered a couple of damaging results against top four rivals. Elsewhere, champions Liverpool host improving West Ham, while Chelsea will hope to pick up maximum points against Burnley who have collected just one point so far.

·It’s crazy to see these two teams play when they are both so low in the table! United’s confidence will be high, but often you have a brilliant result followed by a horror show. I want to see United kick on up the table, and I think they can edge out Arsenal here. Prediction: 2-1.”

Berbatov also thinks Spurs will beat West Brom.

After Tottenham Hotspur’s shocking Europa League defeat, they need an urgent win in the Premier League this weekend. They are getting a visit from West Bromwich Albion. As a former Tottenham Hotspur player, it’s evident that Berbatov will be very interested to see how his other former English club does over the weekend. Especially after such an embarrassing defeat in Europe.

Berbatov wrote: “Spurs are being classed as title contenders, which is great, and they have a chance now to go on to succeed and become consistent. I say again, Harry Kane and Son are magicians, and Gareth Bale can inject his quality too. They should take three points here. Prediction: 2-0.”
