Leeds United have reportedly started talks with Udinese for Argentine midfielder Rodrigo De Paul.
The newly-promoted Premier League side are looking to make their third addition this summer, as they prepare for their return in English top-flight football.
Late last evening the Peacocks confirmed the signing of German defender Robin Koch, after previously breaking their club-record transfer fee with the £35million addition of Valencia’s Rodrigo Moreno.
Marcelo Bielsa has now turned his attention to compatriot Rodrigo De Paul, who spent the past four years at Udinese.
The Argentine coach was impressed by De Paul’s versatility, who although predominantly is an attacking midfielder, but can practically play anywhere across the front line.
The 26-year-old noted seven goals and six assists in 34 Serie A appearances last season.
He has earned 17 caps for the Argentine national team and won the third place in the 2019 Copa America.
Rodrigo De Paul could cost Leeds United around €30 million.
