A lot of Barcelona players could be leaving the club this summer. Depending on how things go, Luis Suarez could be one of those names.
If you believe the news, the whole Barca squad is reportedly up for sale. All but for a few of them. Recent comments from club president Josep Bartomeu perhaps gave a hint on that.
Speaking on the club’s summer plans, Bartomeu only mentioned a few players that will definitely be at the club next season. Surprising or maybe not, Luis Suarez was not among those names.
Going by that, the club could be ready to move on from the striker this summer. He has been prolific since his arrival in 2014 but he is now 33 and is way past his prime.
Not long after Bartomeu’s comments, Dutch reports claimed Ajax were ready to re-sign Suarez.
And just less than 48 hours since then, it appears Juventus are also interested in the Uruguayan.
TuttoMercatoWeb journalist Giacomo Iacobellis claims the Serie A champions are eyeing up Suarez ahead of next season.
Pirlo is reportedly looking for depth and will consider adding an experienced frontman to his ranks.
It contradicts with recent rumors circling around Juventus though. If some reports claim Juve are ready to ship out Higuain, why go for a forward one year older than him?
