Philippe Coutinho’s future will be decided after the Champions League and he could end up staying at Barcelona, informs Kia Joorabchian.

Philippe Coutinho has actively been linked with a Premier League return, with Arsenal rumored to be interested in signing him.

Coutinho currently plays for Bayern Munich on loan from FC Barcelona but is apparently wanted by neither club the next season.

He has struggled to find his feet ever since forcing his way out of Liverpool back in 2018. Barca, hence, are reportedly willing to take a loss on their record signing and cash in on him this summer.

Some reports claim that Mikel Arteta is on the verge of making him his first signing and that the 28-year old Brazilian has already agreed to personal terms with Arsenal.

But his agent has brushed aside any such rumors saying that Coutinho’s future will not be decided until Bayern Munich’s Champions League campaign ends.

“After the Champions League is finished, and whatever happens, then we’ll sit down,” the agent told during an appearance on talkSPORT.

“It could be that Barcelona is the ultimate destination.

“He loves the Premier League, but the finances and the numbers and the situation of COVID are going to play a big part. He’s a big player with big numbers.”
