Juventus have revealed the coaching staff working with Andrea Pirlo and Igor Tudor will be the assistant manager at the club.

As expected, Andrea Pirlo will be working with Igor Tudor as his assistant manager at Juventus, plus Roberto Baronio as a technical collaborator.

The deal was already mentioned in the Hajduk Split statement that confirmed the Croatian was leaving the Croatian club for this new experience.

It is an intriguing move, considering Pirlo has no managerial experience at all, whereas Tudor has been a coach at Hajduk Split, PAOK, Karabukspor, Galatasaray and Udinese.

In a statement on the Juventus’ website, the club revealed pre-season activity will resume on Monday. The other piece of news was details about the coaching staff at the club.

“Tudor, will be joined in his role by Roberto Baronio and Antonio Gagliardi, who both have experience in the Italian national team setup. Baronio as Under-19 coach and Gagliardi has worked as a match analyst of the senior team, whilst Paolo Bertelli, who already had a spell at Juventus from 2011 to 2014, takes the role of Head of Athletic Preparation.”

Rumor even has it that the Croatian paid a part of his release clause at Hajduk Split just to pursue a role at Juventus.

Igor Tudor will not be new to Juventus’ fans having starred from the club from 1998 to 2005.
