Manchester City, Barcelona, Chelsea, Juventus, Arsenal and more made the cut as the world’s 30 most valuable football clubs.
The most valuable football club in the world is Manchester City. The Premier League champions have a squad value of €1.03 billion. Liverpool (€1.03bn) and Bayern Munich (€842m) round off the top three.
City and Liverpool sitting as Transfermarkt’s two most valuable clubs will come as no surprise to most, having invested immense sums of cash on new players in recent years.
An aging squad, however, appears to have caught up with Real Madrid. The Spanish club sit only eighth in the list on €746m and behind city rivals Atletico Madrid (€748m).
Despite losing the Serie A title for the first time in nine years, Juventus are still Italy’s most valuable club.
The Bianconeri, however, still only lie 11th on the list on a squad value of €678m. New Serie A champions Inter Milan sit a spot below in 12th (€618m).
The final 10 clubs to enter this top 30 list include record six-time Europa League champions Sevilla, Jose Mourinho’s new club AS Roma, and Premier League side Aston Villa.
