The future of the French forward at Parc des Princes remains a subject of debate with little progress made in his contract situation.
Kylian Mbappe idolizes Cristiano Ronaldo would most certainly play for Real Madrid in the future, according to Jese Rodriguez.
Mbappe has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with the club’s interest in the player dating all the way back to his AS Monaco days.
The talented forward rose to prominence in his final year at Monaco as he helped the club break Paris Saint-Germain’s domestic dominance and win their first Ligue 1 title in two decades.
The Frenchman became the second-most costliest player on the planet when Paris Saint-Germain made his transfer permanent after a year of snapping him up on loan.
He has since developed into one of the world’s finest players and, despite being only 22 years of age, boasts 11 major honors on his resume, including the World Cup.
PSG, however, could be forced to lose their prized asset for free. Mbappe’s current contract runs out after 18 months and there has been little advancement in his negotiations with the club over an extension.
“He would love to go to Real Madrid,” Jese, who recently joined Las Palmas on a free transfer, told El Partidazo de COPE on Wednesday.
“His idol has always been Cristiano [Ronaldo]. He loves Madrid and I am sure he will play there one day.”
