The Milan striker has told Kylian Mbappe to pursue his career elsewhere.

Kylian Mbappe is spending the last months of his current contract at PSG. The French striker has reportedly rejected several contract extension offers from the club, with Real Madrid highly interested in a move.

Real Madrid nearly secured a move for the PSG star last summer. However, the French giants rejected an offer for Mbappe as they wanted to keep him for at least another season.

In a new interview, Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed he had advised the French star to join another club.

“It is true that I told Kylian Mbappe he should leave PSG,” Ibrahimovic told Italian outlet Corriere della Sera (via JOE).

“He needs a more structured environment like the one at Real Madrid.

“However, I also advised the PSG president not to sell him.”

Earlier this week, Diario AS reported Mbappe is edging closer toward a Real Madrid move. The Spanish outlet claims PSG were hopeful of keeping the Frenchman until August, even planning to make him their top-earner.

Real Madrid can start their negotiations with Mbappe’s agent as early as this February. If a January move is not possible, the player will most likely leave the Parisians as a free agent in June.
