The teenager is spending the final months of his current contract at Dortmund.

Youssoufa Moukoko has dismissed reports about his stalled contract negotiations with Borussia Dortmund.

Moukoko has established a reputation as one of the hottest prospects in German football this season. Following Erling Haaland’s departure in the summer, the 18-year-old has stepped up to gradually secure a lineup spot at Dortmund.

His performances have convinced a number of elite sides, including Liverpool and Chelsea, to pursue his signature ahead of the next summer.

Meanwhile, Dortmund have been desperate to tie the youngster to a new contract. But their efforts are yet to convince Moukoko to commit his future to the club beyond the current season.

Last week, the Dortmund star’s agent revealed his client was “not close” to signing a new deal at the German side.

The comments intensified rumours about Moukoko’s possible departure from Dortmund. But the teenager says he won’t allow anyone to “pressure” him into an unwanted decision.

“Please don’t believe everything that’s been written in the papers,” Moukoko said in a post on social media.

“I won’t let myself be pressured into a decision about my future. I will never accept such a lie about me. My full focus is on the second half of the season with Borussia Dortmund.

“No player is bigger than the club and I will never be bigger than the club, just a small part of it.

“It’s really sad that something like that is invented just to paint you fans a wrong picture about me. I am really shocked by this story.”
