Jones to finally quit Man Utd?

Manchester United are considering letting Phil Jones leave the club on a free transfer.

Jones’ last appearance in a Man United shirt dates all the way back to January 2020, with fitness issues being a cause of serious concerns for the player lately.

The Red Devils are eager to lighten their wage bill, and therefore they could make a player who earns £100,000-a-week a free agent.

Man City to make opening Grealish bid

Manchester City are preparing to submit their opening offer worth £75 million to Aston Villa for Jack Grealish, reports the Daily Mail.

Aston Villa, however, are hoping to make at least £100 million from the sale of their star player. They are also understood to be readying an attractive £150,000-a-week offer for him so as to tempt him to stay put.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a stellar rise to prominence over the last two seasons and has been on Man City’s wishlist for a while now.

Lautaro linked to Arsenal

Arsenal have approached Inter Milan to enquire about Lautaro Martinez, according to The Telegraph.

Adding attacking firepower to his squad remains a target for Mikel Arteta this summer. The Gunners are already working on bolstering their defense as they are close to sealing the deal for highly-rated center-back Ben White.

Inter, though, would be unwilling to part ways with their Argentine attacker, who scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists across all competitions for the club in 2020-21.

Two-way battle for Brandt

Julian Brandt has emerged as a transfer target for both AC Milan and Lazio, as per Calcio Mercato.

Milan want to sign the German playmaker as a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu, who jumped ships to rival club Inter Milan on a free transfer earlier this summer.

The Rossoneri are keen on bringing in the Borussia Dortmund man on a season-long loan, and so do Lazio.
