The PSG superstar registered his 12th Ligue 1 goal of the season in style.

Paris Saint Germain defeated Lille 4-3 in their Ligue 1 game on Sunday. Lionel Messi scored a fantastic free kick to win the match for the Parisians in the 95th minute.

PSG opened the scoring through Kylian Mbappe early on, with Neymar doubling their lead in the 17th minute.

A goal from Bafode Diakite, however, got Lille back into the game. The visitors made it 2-2 through Jonathan David two minutes before the hour mark.

PSG’s lacklustre defending cost them another goal when Jonathan Bamba converted a one-on-one situation against Gianluigi Donnarumma.

But that wasn’t enough to end PSG’s hopes of turning the game around. Mbappe completed his brace to score an equalizer for the Parisians in the 87th minute.

The hosts then increased the pressure on Lille’s backline during the extra time. A foul just behind the box allowed Messi to make his mark in the final minute of the game.

The Argentine superstar, who was quiet throughout the game, completed his side’s dramatic comeback with a fantastic shot into the bottom right corner of the net.

The victory gets PSG back to winning ways after their three consecutive defeats against Marseille, Monaco, and Bayern Munich.

The Parisians will face Marseille again in the league next Sunday.
