After being snubbed in the Midfielder of the Season Award, Thomas Müller reacted in hilarious fashion to the UCL Draw.
Thomas Müller is never a dull person when he shares his moments with the world, his reaction to the UCL Draw is simply perfect. There have been several moments to remember from the German star, he has a laid-back personality and enjoys life. He may have expected to win the UEFA Midfielder of the Year Award.
But Kevin De Bruyne surprised everybody by defeating both Müller and Thiago Alcantara. Far from feeling left out of the ceremony, Müller decided to take part in his own “particular” way. In a personal video he apparently filmed from his phone inside his stable, Müller presented the winners of the evening by pointing the camera at his horses. The funniest bit was when he seemed to compare one of his ponies with Hansi Flick after winning the Manager of the Year Award.
Müller likes Bayern’s group.
After the surreal moment, Thomas Müller made an effort to get serious about the group stage rivals. Let’s remember that the German giants are part of Group A with Atletico Madrid, RB Salzburg, and Lokomotiv Moscow.
“A very interesting group. I haven’t played against two of the teams – Salzburg and Lok Moscow,” said Müller via Bayern Munich’s website. “As current Champions League winners, we’re already under pressure in the group stage. But I’m really looking forward to these opponents.”
