The Frenchman’s attitude has been called into question at times amid his form and fitness struggles during his second spell at Old Trafford.

Eric Bailly has brushed aside suggestions that Paul Pogba is “not concentrating” at Manchester United or “doesn’t care” about the club.

Uncertainty continues to surround Pogba’s future at Manchester United despite him having stepped him his performance this season.

While Real Madrid‘s interest in him appears to have considerably toned down, rumors linking the midfielder with a move away have not entirely disappeared.

Having been a controversial figure at Old Trafford, the Frenchman has received frequent criticism from fans and media alike ever since his world-record transfer from Juventus in 2016.

Much of the criticism has been aimed at his attitude with suggestions that the World Cup winner doesn’t give his all for United.

“Paul Pogba is always happy, he portrays one image, and if you don’t know him you’d say that this guy doesn’t care, he’s not concentrating or fixing on what he needs to do,” Bailly told on journalist Guillem Balague’s official YouTube channel.

“But he’s not like that at all. He’s very professional and works really hard. People look and say he doesn’t care, but that’s just not true for me. You’ve got to know him to really see what type of person he is.

“Above everything, he is a really hard worker, a professional player.”
