Age is nothing but a number for a 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, who has five incredible stats to back it up.

Hitting the big 30 usually signals the end of the road for footballers. Their abilities begin to decline and they struggle to match the performances of the young ones, resulting in an inevitable retirement.

But for Cristiano Ronaldo, turning 30 was simply another challenge he was happy to beat.

The Juventus superstar slammed home a brilliant left-footed strike from outside the box against Roma on Saturday just a day after his 36th birthday and reached the following stats in the process.

300 goals after turning 30

If you ever needed proof that Ronaldo ages like a fine wine, this would be it.

Before turning 30 in 2015, the forward scored 463 goals in 718 games across his career. And after hitting the big 30, he has since scored a staggering 300 goals in only 326 games.

84 goal contributions in only 81 Serie A games

Ronaldo has made the most goal contributions of any Serie A player since joining Juventus in 2018 from Real Madrid.

Critics questioned the move to Italy, wondering why a player of his age would take such a gamble. Almost three years later, however, Ronaldo has silenced them with 84 goal involvements since his league debut.

The Portuguese has managed 68 goals and 16 assists in 81 appearances – insane.

62 Champions League goals

The Champions League king remains formidable in Europe, having scored 62 goals for Real Madrid and Juventus since February 2015.

He also won three titles in a row between 2016 and 2018 – not bad, right?

Most goals in one season for Juventus (2018/19)

To think of all the great players that have donned the black and white jersey of Juventus from Alessandro Del Piero to even Michel Platini, and yet none of them came close to what Ronaldo achieved in two seasons.

Only Cristiano could surpass Felice Borel’s record of 35 goals from the 1933/34 campaign with 37 goals last season.

13 major titles

Ronaldo has won the following since the turning 30:

  • La Liga (1x)
  • Champions League (3x)
  • Serie A (2x)
  • Italian Super Cup (2x)
  • Euro 2016 (1x)
  • Nations League (1x)
  • Club World Cup (2x)
  • UEFA Super Cup (1x)
