Bakayoko of interest to PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain are seriously considering the prospect of signing Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko. Sporting director Leonardo is a huge admirer of the 26-year old Frenchman, with bringing in a defensive-minded midfielder a priority for the club in this transfer market.

PSG want Bakayoko on an initial loan deal but Chelsea seem only interested in selling him outright. [ESPN]

Gotze emerges as shock Bayern target.

Bayern Munich have held discussions with Mario Gotze regarding a potential return to the club. Manager Hansi Flick himself contacted the midfielder, who is currently a free agent.

Gotze left Borussia Dortmund at the end of the last season after letting his contract run down and is available on a free transfer. [Sport Bild]

Barca make advancement in Dest pursuit.

Ajax’s Sergino Dest is considering selecting FC Barcelona as his next destination. The USMNT fullback finds the offer from the Catalan giants quite attractive, having already agreed to personal terms.

Villa eyeing Barkley move.

Aston Villa are looking to initiate a pursuit for Chelsea’s Ross Barkley. The club want to sign the midfielder on loan, with him having been deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Ruben Loftus Cheek is also an option for the Villians, who are keen on strengthening their midfield. [The Telegraph]

Spurs pushing for Skriniar deal.

Tottenham are keen on signing Milan Skriniar but are yet to reach an agreement over his transfer fees with Inter. The Premier League side are offering €50 million but the Serie A outfit are holding out for €60 million. [Fabrizio Romano]

Torreira agrees to join Atletico.

Lucas Torreira has agreed to personal terms for a switch from Arsenal to Atletico Madrid. However, the clubs are yet to find a common ground for the transfer. [Fabrizio Romano]
