Omar Marmoush will not be able to play for Egypt due to injury.

Egypt boss Carlos Queiroz announced the Pharaohs squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifying games on Saturday.

Despite making the list, Stuttgart forward Omar Marmoush is dropped from the squad due to injury.

Marmoush has missed Stuttgart’s last three games due to a calf issue. According to the national team’s director Wael Gomaa, new scans show the player is yet to make his full recovery.

Marmoush made a great start to his international career last month. The 22-year-old scored a winner in his debut against Libya before making an assist against the same opponents a few days later.

Egypt will face Angola on November 12 before hosting Gabon in their final second-round match four days later.

The Pharaohs are leading Group F of the qualifiers with ten games from their four matches.
