The Manchester United boss has given an update on the injured duo ahead of the Champions League match against PSG.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has announced Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw are recovering well, with the former ‘available for selection’ again.

The pair were absent in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Southampton last weekend. Martial had to pull out due to an illness, while Shaw continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained against Everton last month.

But both players are back in training at the club’s Carrington complex ahead of Wednesday’s showdown with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

“Anthony got through the session and felt okay, so he’s also available for selection,” Solskjaer told the club’s website.

“Luke is probably the biggest doubt but the rest of them are holding their hands up saying: ‘I’m ready’.

“Luke isn’t too far away so let’s see what we do with him for tomorrow. Then, of course, Phil [Jones] has been away for a long time but now we’re getting more and more players ready to participate in every game.”

It’s possible former PSG star Edinson Cavani may get the nod over Martial for the match. Alex Telles, on the other hand, looks set to start in left-back in place of Shaw.
