Right after losing against Leicester City, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made some transfer demands ahead of the upcoming season at United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did what he could with what he was given at Manchester United this season. At the start of the season, he knew that the Red Devils didn’t have the roster depth that the Citizens currently have. And yet, they still managed to keep themselves in second place for the majority of the season. Ole has been requesting for new recruits since he arrived to coach the club after Mourinho left.

Today, he can finally make demands that the club owners might listen to after taking the club to the Europa League final. The results they got are the best they can get with the current players within the roster. But the team needs some urgent modifications and the arrival of at least one world-beater in order to compete. Jadon Sancho’s possible transfer is a great alternative to what Solskjaer is looking for in the transfer market. But the English forward is only one of many options the Red Devils have.

Solskjaer congratulates Manchester City.

Right after the match, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer congratulated Manchester City for winning the Premier League. But in his exchange with the press, he also sent a message to the Glazer family about the transfer needs this team requires. Everybody knows that these days, the clubs that compete for all the titles need to splash the cash for the best available players on the transfer market.

This is what the Daily Mail picked up from Solskjaer after the match: “If you want to take up the challenge with them we need to strengthen our squad. Congratulations to Manchester City. They’ve had a fantastic season but I’m very pleased with my boys that we have made it to the last 10 days with a City side ahead of us that are lauded as the best in Europe. We want to take the next step and it might be that we need a couple more to strengthen the squad.”
