Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brushed off all the negative comments about Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence at Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been confounded to see people questioning Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence at Manchester United.

The 36-year-old veteran paused the entire world as he returned to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window. Rest assured, the Portuguese hero certainly had an emotional impact on the United supporters after spending 12 years outside England.

Even though we could see that fans all around the world were thrilled to see Ronaldo stepping into the Premier League once again, it has not been so straightforward.

Can you question his impact at all? 🤷‍♂️

Many have been questioning his place in the squad, despite him racking nine goals in 11 appearances for Man Utd.

For that reason only, Solskjaer is absolutely shocked and cannot believe how people are doubting Cristiano, in spite of his implacable efforts.

The Red Devils head coach told of Ronaldo ahead of the Manchester derby this weekend: “He’s one of the best players that’s ever walked on the planet.”

“His impact on and off the pitch has been absolutely immense. The goals he scores, the way he conducts himself in and around the place. So how people can say it’s a negative, I can’t see it.”

“Really, really pleased he started off as well as he has. But that’s what he does, he scores goals, he works for his team, he’s a top, top professional.”
