Ace Football presents a detailed list of all the Premier League top scorers, the players with the most assists, and the league standings here.

2021/22 promises to bring one of the most exciting battles yet as some of the world’s best strikers battle to finish first in the Premier League top scorers list.

Harry Kane won the Golden Boot last season on 23 goals in 35 appearances for Tottenham. Liverpool star Mohamed Salah finished a close second on 22 goals. Bruno Fernandes completed the top three, having found the back of the net 18 times for Manchester United.

Fast forward to the current campaign, however, Salah is on course for a third Golden Boot award. The Egypt international scored a hat-trick at the weekend as Liverpool demolished Manchester United 5-0 at Old Trafford. He is now three goals clear of his nearest rival, Leicester City star Jamie Vardy.

The Assists Table

Despite going two games without an assist, Paul Pogba’s haul of seven assists in the charts will take some beating. The Manchester United midfielder is still in pole position for the Premier League’s Playmaker of the Year award.

But as the World Cup winner faces a potential three-match ban, Salah has a golden opportunity to catch up. Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic, Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, and Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure are also looking handy.

Premier League Standings

Manchester United have dropped down to seventh-place following a 5-0 home defeat at the hands of Liverpool. The Red Devils are three points outside the top-four and eight points behind leaders Chelsea.

The only real major change in the top-four race is West Ham, who defeated Tottenham 1-0 on Sunday, leapfrogging Brighton into fourth place after the Seagulls suffered a 4-1 hammering from Manchester City at the weekend.
