Only one point divides Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table. But which team have a more challenging schedule ahead of them for the final weeks of the campaign?

Man City and Liverpool faced two in-form teams this weekend. The Citizens crushed Leeds United 4-0, ending their run of five unbeaten matches.

On the other hand, Liverpool managed to clinch a hard-fought win over Newcastle. A 1-0 win by Jurgen Klopp’s men brought the Magpies’ four-match winning streak to an abrupt end.

What’s next for Man City and Liverpool?

Both City and Liverpool must now prepare to return to Champions League action later this week. 

Two crunch semi-final battles will see the English giants lock horns with Real Madrid and Villarreal in Spain.

After that, Liverpool will host Tottenham in their next league game on May 7, while City meet Newcastle a day later.
