The Premier League awards for the best player, manager, goal, and save have been announced for the month of April 2023.
Player of the Month – Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Erling Haaland has won the Player of the Month award for the second time in his debut campaign, having first won the prize in August 2022.
The striker managed six goals and two assists in only four games in April to help Manchester City overtake Arsenal in the title race. He scored in all his four games and broke the record for the most goals scored in a Premier League season.

Manager of the Month – Unai Emery (Aston Villa)
The Spaniard has won the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award for the first time in his career.
Aston Villa enjoyed an excellent month under Unai Emery in April. The Villains won five of their seven games to insert themselves as top-six challengers. This included memorable victories over Chelsea and Newcastle. Emery is the first Villa manager to scoop this prize since Dean Smith in December 2020.
Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Roy Hodgson (Crystal Palace), Eddie Howe (Newcastle), and Gary O’Neil (Bournemouth) were also in contention for the award.

Goal of the Month – Matheus Nunes (Wolves)
The Goal of the Month went to Matheus Nunes for his volley against Chelsea.
From a tight angle, the Wolves midfielder smashed in a brilliant effort. It was not only his first Premier League goal, but it also sealed a 1-0 victory for Wolves. Nunes’ Wolves teammate Jonny won the same award in March.
