Premier League is back with a host of exciting matches after the World Cup break.

Following a long pause due to the World Cup, Premier League finally restarts this Monday. Seven matches will take place on Boxing Day as the English top flight enters its 17th matchday.

Let’s check out three betting tips for the boxing day of the 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

Goals likely on both sides when Arsenal meet West Ham

Arsenal return to the Premier League as they hope to continue their fantastic form of the season’s first half.

We expect the Gunners to push for the win in the London derby. Given Arsenal’s in-form attackers, we expect Mikel Arteta’s side to find the back of the net against West Ham.

However, the Hammers’ ability to create counter-attacking chances suggests they will also have a chance to find the back of the net on Monday.

Back Wolves to beat Everton

Wolves hope to escape the Premier League’s bottom as soon as possible after hiring Julen Lopetegui.

The Spanish manager will take on Frank Lampard’s Everton in his first managerial experience in the Premier League.

It won’t be an easy job to defeat Everton at Goodison Park. But we expect Lopetegui to pull it off with his side’s superior firepower.

Wolves have scored in all but one of their last seven games across all competitions. Given their improved defensive form and Everton’s struggles before the World Cup break, we expect Lopetegui’s men to claim a narrow win.

Don’t expect goals when Leicester City take on Newcastle

Newcastle reached the third spot on the Premier League table with a host of perfect displays before the World Cup break.

The Magpies start the second half of the season on the back of a five-game winning streak.

Given Newcastle’s wonderful defensive displays this season, it’s hard to imagine Leicester finding a lot of chances during the game.

However, the Foxes’ four consecutive clean sheets in their recent matches show they are ready to counter Newcastle’s attacks.

We expect Newcastle to fight for the three points. But they will most likely avoid risking too much if they find the opener against the Foxes.
