Stefano Pioli’s side have won each of their games so far in 2020/21, and he believes the strength lies in the synergy throughout the club.

AC Milan maintained their perfect record for the season on Thursday night after making a fine start to their Europe League campaign – a 3-1 win over Celtic.

The Serie A side also equaled a 56-year-old club record following the victory at Celtic Park. They have now scored two or more in 10 consecutive games for the first time since December 1964.

An in-form Rossoneri have now extended their unbeaten run to 21 matches across all competitions.

Having picked up all 12 points, they currently sit at the summit of the Serie A table, two points clear of second-placed Sassuolo.

Milan’s win at Parkhead came immediately after the 2-1 victory against Inter, and head coach Stefano Pioli insists the need to maintain the momentum after a derby win was paramount.

“It was important to show that we are not a normal team that shows less of a stimulus after such a desired victory as the derby,” explained Pioli, via Goal.

“The secret? We all work in one direction, club, technical staff, players, we all feel involved.”

“The secret lies in work, sacrifice, and the desire to improve,” the Italian added, speaking to Sky Sport.
