Napoli looking at Tagliafico.

Napoli are ‘highly interested’ in signing Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico. They have already made initial contact with Ajax over a summer move. However, Gli Azzurri would first have to offload Faouzi Ghoulam in order to move forward for the Tagliafico’s transfer.

Juve plotting Partey swoop.

Juventus are looking to beat Arsenal in the battle to sign Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey. Atletico are not prepared to lower their €50 million valuation of the defensive midfielder. And in order to bring down the price, Juve are willing to negotiate a player plus cash deal involving Federico Bernardeschi.

Silva set for Chelsea move.

Chelsea are close to securing the services of Thiago Silva on a free transfer. The Brazilian center-back is soon set to become Chelsea’s third signing of the summer and will reportedly commit to a one-year deal.

The 35-year old became a free agent on Sunday following Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League final defeat against Bayern Munich. [Sky Sports]

Zlatan yet to commit future to Milan.

The future of AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to remain up in the air. His current contract is set to expire after the end of August but he is yet to sign an extension. Newcastle keen on Giannoulis.

Newcastle United have launched a bid in the region of €5 million (£4.5m) for PAOK’s defender Dimitris Giannoulis. The Magpies are in the market for a left-back after Danny Rose’s return to Tottenham.
