Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane made their first start for the Red Devils but it was Mason Greenwood who grabbed the headlines on Sunday.

Manchester United did not disappoint Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in his 100th match in charge of the club as they got a hard-fought and marginal win against Wolves.

The 1-0 victory saw Man United make history as they broke the record of the longest unbeaten run away from home in the Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes thought he had handed his side the lead when he, after controlling an exquisite over-the-top ball from Paul Pogba, produced a fine finish very late in the first half. However, the linesman quickly put his flag up and the goal was chalked off.

The deadlock broke in the final ten minutes, with Mason Greenwood scoring the winning goal for the visitors with a sublime effort. The teenager cut inside from the right, did a couple of step-overs, and placed his shot low into the back of the net.
