Toni Kroos admits to turning down multiple chances to exit the Santiago Bernabeu as he desires to hang his boots at the club.

Toni Kroos, currently in his seventh season with the team, has won it all with Real Madrid – and then some.

A total of 13 major trophies, including two La Liga and three Champions League titles, has been won by the midfielder so far ever since a €25 million switch to the Spanish Capital.

The 30-year old has been a mainstay in the middle of the park for Los Blancos for quite a while now, but there have been rumors of his exit.

It is being speculated that the former Bayern Munich man, after a long time from his homeland, is feeling homesick and wants to spend the final few years of his career away in his native Germany.

The World Cup winner, however, insists that is not the case as he has taken a liking to life in Spain.

“I always like to go back to Germany because it is my country and it is my language,” Kroos told reporters, via Goal. “But I really enjoy life in Madrid and playing for Real Madrid.

“I have had offers, but I never spoke with other clubs because my idea is to finish my career at Real Madrid.”
