The Blaugrana improved their position in the league table after narrowly picking up all three points from Sunday’s outing at Camp Nou.

Ronald Koeman has positive feelings about FC Barcelona’s chances of winning the La Liga title this season.

Barcelona remained inefficient in the final third for the most part against Levante and it appeared they were set to extend their unbeaten streak to three matches across all competitions.

A moment of magic from Lionel Messi, however, turned the match in their favor as the Argentine’s 600th strike in the number 10 shirt for the club proved enough for a win.

The 1-0 result helped them gain some ground over Atletico Madrid who surrendered their lead at the top of the table after losing 2-0 to Real Madrid.

Currently sitting at eight, the Catalan giants are nine points behind leaders Real Sociedad albeit have two games in hand.

“Of course we can win [the title],” Koeman said after the full-time whistle at Camp Nou on Sunday night, via Daily Mail.

“If we improve and we have more confidence and we improve our effectiveness [in front of goal], there’s a chance.

“There are still lots of games left remaining. We know our situation in the league. We knew after we lost against Cadiz we had to win and let’s hope that is good for the confidence.”
