The two sides decided to postpone their planned match in Tel Aviv.

Juventus will take on Atletico Madrid at their training ground on Sunday after a scheduled meeting in Israel was cancelled.

Safety concerns convinced the two clubs to decide against travelling to Tel Aviv for the friendly fixture. Heightened tensions in the Gaza Strip have generated concerns over the security of the players and staff.

“Originally scheduled to take place in Tel Aviv, the game between the two footballing giants will now be played in Turin at the Juventus Training Centre in Continassa,” a statement from Juve on Saturday reads.

Both sides will play their final friendly game of the pre-season before the start of their respective league campaigns.

The Bianconeri come into the game on the back of a preparation period that saw them beat Guadalaja before facing Barcelona and Real Madrid.

After a 2-2 draw against Barcelona and a 2-0 loss against Real Madrid in the US, Juventus will meet their next Spanish opponents on home soil.

Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, have won all of their pre-season games so far. The Rojiblancos will face Juventus after beating Numancia, Manchester United, and Cadiz.

Juventus will open their Serie A campaign with a match against Sassuolo next Monday, while Atletico will lock horns with Getafe in their first La Liga game of the new season.
