Having spent all his life senior career so far at Old Trafford, the 23-year-old is open to the idea of playing abroad at some point in the future.

Marcus Rashford has refused to rule out a possible exit from Manchester United in the future while admitting he is a “big fan” of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Rashford’s association with Manchester United is 16 years old. He joined their famed youth academy at the age of seven back in 2005 and, rising through the ranks, earned a promotion to the senior team in 2015.

270 appearances have been taken in by the England international since then while scoring 88 goals and winning four major honors.

The 23-year-old forward is tied to Manchester United through to 2023 and while there is no indication of his potential exit, Rashford is open to the idea of playing in another country at some point in the future.

Asked whether he can see himself playing abroad, Rashford told The Guardian: “I would never say no.

“Other than United? I’m a big fan of Real Madrid and Barcelona, because they’ve always had great players and played attractive football.

“Everybody watches Real Madrid and Barcelona.”

“I would never say no.”
