The Bavarians are eager to sign a reliable replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern Munich will reportedly avoid getting into a bidding war with Manchester United over Harry Kane.

The Bavarians have shown interest in signing Kane since Robert Lewandowski’s departure last summer. The England captain is a few months away from entering the final 12 months of his contract.

However, reports from English outlets claim the Spurs are not willing to sell their star striker for anything below £100m. Meanwhile, Manchester United have entered the race to sign Kane as they prepare to bolster their attacking line next summer.

According to Mirror, Bayern could give up on their plans to sign Kane as they believe Tottenham’s valuation of him is too high. On the other hand, the German giants are not willing to enter a bidding war with Man Utd.

The Bavarians are reportedly monitoring Randal Kolo Muani as a possible alternative to Kane. Earlier this week, reports emerged of the Frenchman’s “dream” of continuing his career at Allianz Arena.

Kolo Muani has attracted interest from a number of elite sides with his fantastic performances for Eintracht Frankfurt and France. The 24-year-old has registered 12 goals and 12 assists in his 26 appearances for the Eagles so far this season.

However, his contract at Eintracht runs until 2027, meaning Eintracht are under no pressure to sell him next summer. In addition to Bayern, Chelsea, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also closely following Kolo Muani’s situation.
